joseph maccabe 1904 - 1905 Eighth president of the AAU. McCabe was an educator and artist and continued his musical composition and gave up teaching. He belonged to the American Club of Paris and the Salmagundi and Friars Clubs of New York. He passed while attending the annual AAU National Convention in Washington, DC.
